Whenever I go to an upline meeting I participate in the swap.... I just love seeing what others come up with. I decided it would be a good idea to share some of those cards with you, too. Everyone's style is different and I really do enjoy seeing what other people create. So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite swaps from January. I won't go into full details on every aspect of each card because then you'd be reading for way too long. Instead I'll just mention some highlights of each card and if you have any questions you can post them as a comment at the end of the post.
This first one uses the new Pinking Hearts Border punch and the exclusive SU! Heart of Hearts embosslit die. If you haven't used one of the embosslit dies yet, you should try them out. They cut and emboss at the same time!
This next card uses the I {Heart} Hearts and Well Scripted stamp sets and the Sending Love Specialty designer paper. All items can be seen in the Occasions Mini. Love that paper - every page in the pack has glittery designs on one side. It's beautiful in real life!
Next up.... Tess from Tote-ally Tess. Is't she fabulous. Check out the full set in the Occasions mini - she's got some fab accessories to go with her!
Last up, this is one of my new favorite stamp sets, Vintage Vogue, also in the Occasions Mini. The textured dotted background was created with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, exclusive to SU!

So, what's your favorite card? Please leave me a comment and let me know.

Today's project is one of my current favorite cards. It uses the new i {Heart} Hearts stamp set from the Occasions Mini. What's even better about this card now, is that if you purchase this stamp set now, Stampin' Up! will donate $2.00 to the relief efforts in Haiti. Click here for more details.
I love this color combination of Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black. On this card the three red hearts are cut out and raised using stampin'dimensionals. The black piece in the background was run through the Big Shot with the new Stampin' Up! exclusive Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that new embossing folder! (It can also be found in the Occasions Mini). And see that fabulous edge on each side, that was created with the new Scallop Trim border, which can be yours for free with a $50.00 product order. This new punch can be found in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
And speaking of Sale-A-Bration, remember that this promotion is good now. For every $50 you purchase in Stampin' Up! supplies you can choose something for free from the Sale-A-Bration Mini Catalog. And the choices this year even include some of the stamp sets from the main Idea Book and Catalog. Check out the brochure to see which stamp sets qualify.
Wanna step up this card just a little? Spray some shimmer paint mixed with alcohol on the Basic Black piece ofter it's been embossed. Then, to one of the hearts add a tiny greeting from Tiny Tags stamp set, punched out with the Medium Jewelry Tag punch (both new products in the Occasions Mini). My friend Deb Valder showed this card when she did a presentation at the Phoenix regional. It was also her swap at Leadership, and because she was also my roomie, I got to see her stepped up version of the card, too. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the stepped up version. My upline, Sue, liked this card so much, we got to make it ourselves at her meeting earlier this month. Fun!
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If you'd like to order any Stampin' Up! supplies just click here to order online, and then click on "Shop Now". A supply list for this project is included below.

Several of you have asked about seeing what I made while I was away earlier this month. So... here they are. We staged a picture of all our make and take projects, complete with chocolate. We can't stamp without chocolate, ya know. ;-) And do you see that flower punch in the right side of the photo? That's one of the new punches, available in the Occasions Mini. I love the new punch design! And how about that little milk carton in the middle of the page... too cute! It was created using the new die in the mini catalog.
Here's a picture of my good friend Deb, with one of the cards we made:
All these projects were made using the With All My Heart Stamp set from the Occasions Mini. Did you know that the stamps in the Occasions Mini are available in wood mount AND clear mount now? I'll post more on that later this week! If you don't have a copy of the Occasions mini you can download it from my right side bar. If you'd like your own copy mailed to you, please email me at stacey@staceystampinspace.com and I will send one to you!
You can join in on this kind of fun, too. Contact me today to find out more about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and running your own business your way - career, part time, hobby - whatever you want it to be!
If you have any questions on these projects, please leave me a comment. If you'd like to order any Stampin' Up! supplies just click here to order online, and then click on "Shop Now".

Here's a project I made awhile ago with my scrapbook club. It's one of my favorites so I just had to share. Plus, it's from my youngest daughter's first birthday. Since she'll be two in less than two weeks, I figure I'd better share now!
The designer paper, sweet always, is retired, but I just just love the color combination! Each vertical panel is stamped with a different image from the Party Hearty stamp set. All of the elements are raised with dimensionals. Here's a close up of each page, along with some details on the page.
Are you wondering how I got the pink edge on my title? You may bot be able to tell in this photo, but I layered two top notes. I cut them out (at the same time!) with my Big Shot. I then used my paper snips to trim the perforated edge off the Regal Rose top note. Something else to mention is the party hat image was colored in with markers to get the multi-colored result.
This page has some fun stuff going on.... The center of the Celebrate You image was created using a Build-a-brad. I just love playing around with those! And did you notice the glittered cupcake frosting? That's one of my favorite parts of this page. That was created using heat and stick powder, with fine glitter. Don't know what heat and stick powder is? Or don't know how to use it? Here's a mini tutorial for you:
1. Stamp your image in Versamark.
2. Apply heat and stick powder to stamped image. Shake off excess.
3. Use heat tool to melt heat and stick powder. It will turn smooth and sticky.
4. Apply glitter to image. Shake off excess.
5. Use heat tool for just a couple seconds to set the glitter.
6. Finish your project!
That's it.... super simple and creates such a wow! You can't get that same result using a two-way glue pen with glitter.
If you have any questions on this project please leave me a comment. If you'd like to order any Stampin' Up! supplies just click here to order online, and then click on "Shop Now". A supply list for this project is included below.

I'm back from Leadership Conference and boy am I excited!! There is so much to share, I dn't know where to start. My new laptop came in while I was gone so I've been frantically downloading pictures so I can start posting again. In the meantime, I have updated my sidebars with the new Occasions Mini Catalog, the Sale-A-Bration catalog, this months projects and many other new things. Check them all out on my sidebars or by clicking on the pictures below...
First up, it's the most anticipated sale offered by Stampin' Up!.... Sale-A-Bration. For every $50 in products you spend from now until the end of March, you get to choose an item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Plus, new this year you ca also choose from certain items in the full Idea Book and Catalog. Those items are listed in the back of the Sale-A-Bration catalog, and have different item numbers, so when you are placing your online orders, make sure you use the right item number! Spending $50 or $100 or even $150 or more won't be hard this time of year with the new Occasions Mini Catalog, shown just below the SAB catalog.
Here's the new Occasions Mini. There's so much new cool stuff in here you've got to check it out! Stampin' Up! is introducing a new clear mount stamp option. Don't worry... the stamps are still made out of our high quality rubber, but for those of you who have storage issues, or just prefer clear mount, you'll have to check it out! There are some great new stamp sets, great accessories and much more. Click on the picture of the catalog below to check it out:
Also new is an addition to our Definitely Decorative catalog. The catalog you all know and love is still good, but there enough new great items that Stampin' Up! had to create a catalog insert. Check it out by clicking on the picture below:
Next up, two special offers from Stampin' Up!. The firs is a card kit complete with stamps, ink and paper. Everything you need comes in this kit so you can create your own handmade cards and creations.

The second special offer is these awesome Heart Treat Cups. Do you remember the cool Circle treat cups we could get in the holiday mini, well now we can get them in heart shapes, plus there's a coordinating stamp set! Perfect for those Valentine's Day projects, Mother's and Father's Day and even just everyday projects. Order yours today!
Are you still with me? Wow, there's so much new this month. That's why all these items will be in my sidebars for easy access. :-)
Gotta go get my little one some lunch, but I'll be back soon with the monthly projects for you.
Happy Stampin' and Scrappin'!

Happy New Year!
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I know we sure did. The kids had an extra couple days off because of snow, we got to celebrate Hanukkah here and then went to TN to visit my mother-in-law and celebrate Christmas there. We were back home in time for New Year's and got together with some wonderful friends to ring in the new year! We went to a few movies, had a lot of down time with the kids and just generally enjoyed this time off.
Guess what.... my new computer is scheduled to be here tomorrow!!! Yeah - it's about time!
But I won't be back to posting regularly for another week because I will be in Phoenix for the Stampin' Up! leadership conference. I leave Tuesday morning and will be gone until Sunday. So I won't even have time to play with my new laptop until I get back. but, the good news is that once I get back I will be able to post lots of stuff for you to see!
I hope everyone has a great week and I'll be back soon..... with lots of photos for you!
Oh yeah, the new Occasions Mini is available to order from today, and Sale-A-Bration starts today also. I will post links to those catalogs later today.
Happy Stampin' and Scrappin'!
